from Los Angeles or Ontario Airports
LAX - approximately
125 miles Ontario - approximately 90 miles
You would
want to get onto Interstate 10 going east towards San Bernardino. Continue
on 10 past Cabazon and past Palm Springs Hwy 111.
The next exit
will be Highway 62 (also called 29 Palms Hwy). Merge right onto 62
You will stay
on that for approximately 23 miles passing through Morongo Valley, and
Yucca Valley.
As you are
just entering into Joshua Tree, you will come to an intersection - Yucca
Mesa Road to the left and La Contenta on the right. Go past Yucca Mesa
Road and the first driveway (dirt road) on the left(less than a quarter
of a mile) is the retreat center. There is a large blue sign- Mentalphysics
- Joshua Tree Retreat Center and a large metal sculpture. The retreat is
right off of 29 Palms Highway. Also, you can see the large church steeple
on the left.

of the airport get onto E Tahquitz Canyon Way

on N. Farrell Drive

at E. Vista Chino

at N. Gene Autry Trail
